JEKO IMAGERY -- please meet Jeko

What is "JEKO"?  Well, it isn't anything cryptic... just simplification really.  "Jeko" is a longstanding nickname for me, Jeff Kochanowski.

A Family Guy  In my own house there are little people. They have a job which is keeping the bigger people grounded, and they do it well. Ever know a kid that didn't like an opportunity to appropriately point out an adult's errors?? Since my wife is lovely and perfect, I am the one they can readily target.  It's ok though.  I take their pictures and decide which ones we keep.  I always seem to loose the ones that make me look bad.  Hmmm.  Just weird luck I guess.  :)

jsA "lens hugger"   YES, I love photography, and people. So it goes hand in hand that I love taking pictures of people.  As a people person, I truly enjoy weddings because people are well-behaved people on those days.  People are happy people on those days too!  It makes for a pretty good working environment?!?!?

An Assassin??   OK, that is a bit of an embellishment.  But what else do you call someone who shoots people for a living??  I started shooting cameras in the late '70's with my brothers.  We had a darkroom which let us learn & practice oodles of pre-digital photography skills & tricks.  [It is great to do many things at the click of a button now, but also helpful understanding the roots of processes to understand how to get the most out of them too.]  Photography (and videography) have been part of my life ever since.

A Sticky Mess   My brother's are both excellent photographers.  As youngsters we learned that the youngest (me) was not safe with a an album and a bottle of glue.  No way.  Just not the neat, crafty type.  Not neat at all, as a matter of fact.  Now enter the digital age of photography.  The digital realm exploded the post processing possibilities for both images & albums.  But more importantly, it doesn't require any glue!!

Adoptee of Knoxville   No, I am not native to Knoxville.  Is that a fault?? I was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and resided on the east coast until reaching adulthood (thats mid 30's these days). We then chose Knoxville as the city we wanted to be in while raising a family in 1996, and we've been here since.

Now that you've got the scoop on me, when do I get to meet you?
